一、教学内容

PEP小学英语四年级上册Unit5 What would you like? Part A Let’s learn and Let’s play

二、教材分析

三年级教材对食物已经有了初步的介绍,学生学习过并产生了浓厚的兴趣。因为食物是学生日常接触最多的,所以学生的求知欲也特别的强。本课在复习以前所学的食物类单词的基础上进一步学习新的食物类单词, 本课时要求学生掌握的单词有rice, fish, beef, soup, noodles, vegetable 要求学生在听、说的基础上让学生能认读,课文的主要句型是:Can I have some..., please? 及回答Sure. Here you are. Let’s play部分主要是让学生通过听、说和做表演的练习,进一步巩固所学单词和词汇句型。

三、学情分析

四年级的学生已经接触了一年英语,有一定的英语基础。在我班上有36名学生,他们活泼好动,对新事物有着强烈的好奇心,并且有着很强的表现欲。所以,在本节课中我采用了新颖洗染有趣的教学形式进行教学,(如:实物,游戏等)来保持并提高学生学习英语的兴趣。使学生在活动中掌握和运用所学语言。

四、教学目标

1、知识目标:能够掌握单词: rice, fish, beef, soup, noodles, vegetable 和句型: Can I have some..., please? 及回答Sure. Here you are.

2、能力目标:能听、说、认读单词:rice, fish, beef, soup, noodles, vegetable;并能在实际的情景中运用句型:Can I have some..., please? 及回答Sure. Here you are.

3、情感目标:培养学生合作的精神;并提醒学生不要浪费食物。

五、教学重点和难点

1、本课时的教学重点:能听、说、认读单词:rice, fish, beef, soup, noodles, vegetable;并能在实际的情景中运用句型 :Can I have some..., please? 及回答Sure. Here you are.

2、本课时的教学难点:能够正确读单词vegetable

六、教具

多媒体的课件、食物和饮料的图片、单词卡片、蔬菜实物、头饰和服务员用的纸帽

七、教学过程

Step one: Warm up and Revision

1.Greetings:

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning.

T: How are you?

Ss: Fine, thank you.

...

2.Let’s sing a song “Apple round”

3. I like singing and I like eating, too. So let’s go to KFC and have something. 我用PPT呈现到KFC去的情景。T:Wow.. So much food. Bread is my favorite food. I like some bread. 我拿着食物词卡走下台,并问Ss: Do you like bread?同时,用PPT在多媒体上呈现这句话:Do you like bread? (并逐步替换划线部分食物单词)并引导Ss说:Yes, I do. /No, I don’t.

[设计意图] 设计KFC真实的情景,不仅要以吸引学生的注意力,而且也提高了学生学习英语的兴趣。这样可以更好地复习三年级所学的食物单词。

Step two: Presentation and practice

1.创设情景 (Go to Zoom’s home)

My friend Pig made a call for me. She tells me Zoom is learning how to cook Chinese food. Now let’s go to Zoom’s home and have a look. 这时我带上Zoom的头饰,并用PPT呈现Zoom’s home图片。

(1)教学单词:vegetable

我拿出vegetable的实物。T:What’s this? 引导Ss: This is vegetable. (同时用PPT呈现vegetable的图片)并板书单词vegetable。首先,我用升降调法教学生读,vegetable↑ 、vegetable↓ 由于大部分学生还很难读准此单词,我用拆分法来教授:vege+table=vegetable

(2)教学单词:beef

我用PPT播放cow的声音,让学生来猜测是什么动物,之后呈现cow图片。引出beef单词。我用音标来教授此单词。ee/i:/ → beef并

板书单词beef。接着,我用“快速读单词”游戏来巩固此单词。

(3)教学单词:fish

我设计了“Guess game”来引入单词。我用PPT呈现内容:“ I’m yummy to eat. I can swim in the water. The cat likes me very much. Who am I?”之后,我呈现fish图片。接着,我边做fish动作边教授单词。并板书单词fish, 最后我采用小组比赛的形式来巩固单词。

(4)教学单词:rice

Now Zoom has cooked vegetable, beef, fish and rice. (用PPT呈现出rice的图片)同时,我戴上mouse的头饰,用PPT呈现一个Chant并和学生一起说唱:Rice, rice, I like some rice. Rice, rice, I like some rice. 并板书单词rice。然后,我用PPT引出本课的句型:Can I have some rice, please? 我采用拍手的方法教学生读,使他们很容易就会读此句子。并引导学生回答:Sure. Here you are.(我边做出动作,边教授学生读)最后,让学生和同桌互相操练,并请几组学生带着头饰在台上表演对话。

(5)教学单词:soup

我还着头饰并说:Now I am thirsty. Can I have some soup, please? 用PPT呈现Zoom: Sure. Here you are. 我用音标的方法教授学生读此单词ou /u:/→ soup 并板书单词soup同时,我采用大小声的方法来巩固此单词。接着,我和学生先示范表演对话,我戴着mouse头饰,学生戴着Zoom 头饰 Mouse: Can I have some soup/ rice, please? Zoom: Sure. Here you are. 然后,我请学生上台来表演对话。

(6)教学单词:noodles

T: Boys and girls, please look at that bag. Oh, I can’t open it. Who can help me to open it? Ss: Let me help you. T: What are these? 引导学生说:They are noodles . 并板书单词noodles。接着,我用“开火车”的游戏来巩固此单词。

2.Let’s play

操练句型:A:Can I have some..., please?

B: Sure. Here you are.

我把课前准备好的单词词卡分发给每个小组,之后,我先与一位学生示范表演对话,再让学生们进行操练。最后,请几组学生上台来表演。

Step three: Consolidation and extension

1.Listen and repeat

Read after the flash and let students use their fingers point to the word while they are reading.

2.创设去餐馆点餐的情景

Good kids! Nice food! Do you like these foods? Do you want to eat them? Now let’s go to the restaurant. 我用PPT呈现restaurant图片。我带上waitress的帽子,并说:Now I am the waitress. I need two students come here. (我与学生先进行示范表演),然后,让学生上台来展示。

Waitress: Hello! Welcome!

A:Hello! Can I have some ..., please?

Waitress: Sure. Here you are.

B: Can I have some..., please?

Waitress: Sure. Here you are.

B: Thank you.

Waitress: You are welcome.

3.Enjoy a song “What would you like”
